Perfect Road Guides

Using Skye's Perfect Road Guides mod .. Cash cow starter city created using this mod, the square road tool, and low density roads. Intended to get back to back low density. Not sure if the problem is slight variations in terrain elevation or my use of the tool (SimCity's grid snap can be a little loose), but several of the sections in the screenshot here were not able to develop a second row of buildings. I'll try again next time and report back. Click image for larger version. UPDATE : Skye's subsequent ' 60 Sec Tip ' on the matter has convinced me that I was probably not snapping roads correctly (and not a terrain issue). I now start drawing roads from the guide lines (not where those guidelines intersect the adjoining road), it appears to be much easier this way and I'm almost always 'in the green' this way. Also b e sure to watch his video to learn how the mod works before using.

Don't Starve w/ Mods

World One (w/ mods: inventory expansion & a few weapons) Found beefalo and rabbits early, built a sizable pig town & large hound trap area. C leared in all the surrounding biomes. Moved biome & migrated beefalo. Used up surface rocks & went underground. My main base was basically a pengull throughway, with the gulls constantly destroying my stone walls from the inside out as they migrated from the adjacent river to nesting spots outside. With no above ground stone left on the map and having learned much from my play through I started to seriously consider using the Wooden Thing to move to a new world. Started trying out more mods and d iscovered the Tardis mod (OMG). Decided to 'pack-up' EVERYTHING and carry it to a new world. Beefalo Pen /Subsequent Red Hound Incident and Walls Replaced w/ Stone

Farming For Light Mod allowed me to light my avenues but required a lot of manure. Pen 2.0 has stone walls, cobble stone paths within and is 2/3 the size. Also of note, this was originally all Dark Forest Biome. I had to replant this Savannah grass and migrate the herd.
